According to the excitation constant-current device, an input sampling voltage filtering amplifying circuit connected with a three-phase winding of the generator sequentially passes through a comparison amplifying circuit, a phase-shift trigger circuit and an excitation and rectification output circuit to be excited and output, a silicon controlled rectifying circuit and an overcurrent setting circuit of the excitation and rectification output circuit are connected with a differential amplifier and a first delay integral circuit, the overcurrent setting circuit is connected with the comparison amplifying circuit, the differential amplifier is connected with a generator excitation winding through an overcurrent output comparator, and the first delay integral circuit is respectively connected with the overcurrent output comparator and a second delay integral circuit. The additionally-arranged overcurrent setting circuit can monitor changes of the load current of the generator to adjust the intensity of the excitation current in real time so that output voltage of the generator can keep unchanged.
