The present invention relates to a method and system for integrated operation and maintenance of rail transportation signals based on cloud computing; using the four-level model of railway corporations, railway bureaux, electrical service depots, and stations, in the railway corporations and rail bureaux, respectively deploying a data centre, a data acquisition device, and a terminal, and in the electrical service depots and the stations, only deploying a data acquisition device and a terminal; also deploying a real-time data analysis component, the real-time data analysis component in the electrical service depots or stations being deployed in the data acquisition device, and the real-time data analysis component in the railway corporations or railway bureaux being deployed in the data centre. The present invention uses a hierarchical mode of deployment, implementing real-time analysis of signal data by means of directly deploying a real-time data analysis component in an acquisition device, meeting the storage demands of ever-increasing signal data by means of a tiered storage and indexing strategy, and implementing rapid locating of a fault by means of a four-layer indexing structure; the signal data corresponding to the time of a fault can be rapidly retrieved by means of information including the time, type, and position of the fault.
