Abstract

The invention discloses a workflow engine supporting three kinds of mode driving: fixed-flow, free-flow and mixed-flow mode driving, and the workflow engine includes service procedure definition and service procedure driving modules. When a service procedure is driven, execution must be carried out according to the defined parameters. Under the driving of the free-flow mode, activities or routing information related with the procedure do not need to be defined in advance and when the service procedure is driven, each activity and routing are determined dynamically through selected roles or personnel and selected application program information. Under the driving of the mixed-flow mode, the service procedure definition only stipulates activity information parameters which may be related with the procedure and when the service procedure is driven, execution must be carried out according to the defined activity parameters and a routing clue and a triggering condition and the like are dynamically determined through the selected activities, roles or personnel.
