Abstract

The invention discloses a method for eliminating pump stroke noise in a logging-while-drilling well by using an echo counteraction technology. The method comprises the following steps: (1) the environmental noise is filtered by using a FIR low-pass filter, wherein set parameters of the FIR low-pass filter comprise a filter type, a sampling frequency, frequencies of a stop band and a pass band and a ripple factor; (2) the pump stroke noise is eliminated by using an adaptive filter, wherein signals acquired by a pump stroke sensor are used as inputs of the adaptive filter, and noise generated by a slurry pump is used as echoes formed by distorting the pump stroke signal by a slurry channel; the coefficients of the filter are continuously adjusted by using feedback values to generate outputs similar to the pump stroke noise; and the influence on the signals from the pump stroke noise is eliminated through reverse summation with original signals. The method eliminates the pump stroke noise by using the echo counteraction technology for the input signals containing the pump stroke noise, so that the quality of measurement signals obtained by the logging-while-drilling well is improved.
