Abstract

The invention provides a GPS time service device for providing high-precision large-step time synchronizing signals. The GPS time service device comprises a quartz crystal oscillator, a GPS receiving chip and a digital signal processor. The quartz crystal oscillator is used for providing 10MHz reference frequency. The GPS receiving chip is used for providing 1Hz standard time synchronizing signals. In the digital signal processor, a frequency divider outputs the 1Hz standard time synchronizing signals to a frequency calibration circuit; on a satellite unlocking condition, the 1Hz time synchronizing signals serve as input signals of a time difference calibration circuit, and the frequency calibration circuit outputs 10MHz calibration frequency to a frequency multiplier 1 and a frequency multiplier 2. The time difference calibration circuit outputs calibration values of the 1Hz time synchronizing signals to the frequency multiplier 1 after conducting time difference calibration on the satellite unlocking condition. The frequency multiplier 1 outputs large-step time synchronizing signals on the satellite unlocking condition. The frequency multiplier 2 outputs large-step time synchronizing signals on a satellite locking condition. The GPS time service device is reasonable in design, simple in structure, completely practical and capable of improving the time service precision.
