The glass door unit comprises the screen bars made of PVC (polyvinyl chloride); the thickness of the glass door unit can be effectively reduced to decrease the whole thickness of a glass door by decreasing the width of the screen bars, the thickness of the glass door is two thirds of that of like products and is even less than that of a prior double-layer glass door.
