Abstract

The invention discloses a method for producing high-strength metallurgical coke by increasing the blending proportion of gas-fat coal and belongs to the technical field of coal blending for coking. According to the method, the high-strength metallurgical coke is produced through control on the volatile component index Vdaf, the caking index G, the maximum gelatin layer thickness Y and the distribution range of the vitrinite mean maximum reflectivity Rmax (0.8-1.5%). With the adoption of the method, the blending proportion of the gas-fat coal can be up to 18%, the coke thermal strength CSR is higher than 65%, and requirements of iron-making by blast furnaces larger than 2500 m<3> can be met.
