Abstract

The method comprises: (a), selecting a predetermined number of azimuth angles and obtaining seismic data volumes of the selected azimuth angles in pre-stack seismic data; (b), obtaining seismic data with a predetermined time window length by using one target point in the seismic data volumes as the center among the seismic data volumes of the selected azimuth angles; (c), calculating variance yields of seismic data of different azimuth angles at each time point within the predetermined time window length and carrying out weighted average operation on the variance yields of all time points so as to obtain a first weighted average value; (d), calculating mean square values of seismic data of different azimuth angles at each time point within the predetermined time window length and carrying out weighted average operation on the mean square values of all time points so as to obtain a second weighted average value; and (e), calculating a variance cube of the target point.
