Abstract

The invention, which relates to the field of the cross quadrature coil driving field, discloses a driving method and driving apparatus of a cross coil of an automotive instrument. With the driving method and apparatus, problems of high cost and complicated operation of the driving way of the existing automotive combined instrument can be solved. A first coil of the cross quadrature coil is connected with a constant current signal to control a driving current of a second coil to make a change, thereby realizing driving of the cross coil. One end of a resistor R2 serves as an input terminal of a PWM signal and the other end of the resistor R2 is connected with a base electrode of a triode; a collector of the triode serves a driving signal output terminal of the cross quadrature coil; and an emitter of the triode is connected with a power ground of a 12-V power supply and then is used as a negative connecting terminal of the cross quadrature coil. A positive electrode of the 12-V power supply is connected with one end of a resistor R1 and the other end of the resistor R1 serves as a positive connecting terminal of the cross quadrature coil. The driving method and driving apparatus can be used for application of cross quadrature coil driven by the PWM to an automotive combined instrument.
