Embodiment

[0036] The simulation environment of this embodiment is a cross-domain environment: three physical data centers are geographically distributed, that is, three DCs; the topology of each data center is a fat tree topology, with 128 physical servers and 80 physical switches. In order to estimate the effectiveness of the method provided by the present invention, the energy consumption parameters of the server are set. In this embodiment, a server with an energy consumption ratio of 0.5 in Table 1 is used. Because the CPU energy consumption is the largest energy consumption on the server, only the CPU energy consumption is considered in the simulation, and each physical server has 32 CPUs. In the simulation, the virtual machine resource request is the number of CPUs on the server. Three types of initial virtual machine node topologies are randomly used in the experiments: star topology, binary tree topology and randomly connected graph. We generate two sets of static VDC requests....

Abstract

The invention provides a method for reliability perceptive cross-domain mapping of a virtual data center, which belongs to the technical field of cross-domain mapping of the virtual data center. The cross-domain mapping of the VDC (Virtual Data Center) is implemented through dividing levels of a server, grouping virtual machines, mapping working virtual machines in the groups and computing reliability of a current scheme. The mapping method provided by the invention does not utilize excessive resources as backups to guarantee reliability, but the conventional over-supply strategy utilizes more resources than the method provided by the invention. In comparison with the prior art, through the method, the reliability of the VDC is improved, the lower bandwidth cost is implemented, and the blocking rate of the VDC is reduced.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of virtual data center cross-domain mapping, and in particular relates to a reliability-aware virtual data center cross-domain mapping method. Background technique [0002] In recent years, cloud computing has emerged as a cost-effective model for deploying service applications into large data centers. In the context of cloud computing, there are two main entities: infrastructure providers (InPs) and service providers. The infrastructure provider owns the physical infrastructure and is responsible for dividing the physical resources of each data center into virtual resources (eg, virtual machines), and then groups these virtual resources to the service provider. On the other hand, service providers lease these resources, deploy their service applications on the Internet, and provide service applications to end users. Users can get all the benefits of this technology without the need for infrastructure and ...
