A real-time monitoring system for an iron core of a large-scale transformer belongs to the field of electrical technology and equipment. The technical scheme of the real-time monitoring system is characterized in that: collectors, i.e., leakage current sensors, are installed on grounding bars of an iron core of a large-scale transformer and a reactor and a holder thereof through a fixed liner plate for monitoring leakage currents of the iron core and the holder, a data acquisition cabinet installed on site converts monitored analog signals into digital signals for being displayed on an instrument, at the same time, the digital signals are transmitted to a serial port network server through an RS485 communication cable, then the digital signals are displayed at a monitoring center in real time through a router.
