The vacuum water heating unit comprises a hearth and a convection heating surface region which are defined by membrane walls respectively. The hearth and the convection heating surface region are separated by a separation-wall membrane wall, and a burner is arranged in the hearth. A smoke channel is formed in the convection heating surface region, a smoke inlet is formed in the front end of the smoke channel corresponding to the hearth, and a smoke outlet is formed in the tail end of the smoke channel corresponding to the hearth. A boiler drum is arranged above the smoke channel, a rectangular header is arranged on the lower portion, and convection tube bundles are arranged between the boiler drum and the rectangular header. An underwater hole plate is arranged on the inner wall of the bottom of the boiler drum and covers all connection ports of the convection tube bundles and the boiler, a steam-water separator for producing heat medium steam is arranged in the boiler drum, and heat exchange tubes and a heat exchange header are arranged above the steam-water separator to form a steam-water heat exchange region.
