Abstract

A measurement method and a measurement device of material friction and wear performances. The measurement method comprises the steps of: 1) determining hardness of two to-be-test materials; 2) contacting a blade test member with a block material test member; 3) enabling the acting force between the blade test member and the block material test member to reach a preset value; 4) rotating the block material test member and measuring the normal force and the tangential force between the blade test member and the block material test member; and 5) calculating the friction coefficient and analyzing the friction and wear performances between the two materials according to the measurement results of the normal force and the tangential force. The measurement device includes a clamp disk which is used for mounting the block material test member and is arranged on a machine tool spindle. A force measuring mechanism is arranged on a workbench and is connected to a fixture. The blade test member is connected to the fixture through a spring piece. The measurement method and the measurement device achieve detection and feedback of the acting force between the novel material and the to-be-processed material through the force measuring system, so that a problem that a measure method in the prior art is high in requirement on geometrical size and is high in production cost of a cutter material.
