The invention provides a simulation system and a method of AP and STA. The simulation system and the method are applied to a cloud AC system. The simulation system comprises a configuration management module and at least one AP and STA simulation module. The configuration management module is used for selecting node disposition modes and imputing and analyzing configuration files of the AP and the STA. The AP and STA simulation modules are used for simulating the AP and the STA communicating with the cloud AC system according to the node disposition modes and the configuration files. The node disposition modes comprise single node disposition and distribution type node disposition. In the single node disposition, the configuration management module and the AP and STA simulation modules are disposed on single node. In the distribution type node disposition, the configuration management module is disposed to configure and manage nodes. Each of the AP and STA simulation modules is disposed on different distribution type nodes. According to the invention, numbers of virtual AP and STA are effectively increased and simulation test for large scale APs and STAs in the cloud AC system is achieved.
