Abstract

The invention discloses a multi-purpose water treatment device which can be used for testing the separation capacity of a reverse osmosis membrane and can be used for treatment of sea water desalination as well. The device is provided with a plurality of parallel membrane assemblies. When the multi-purpose water treatment device is used as a reverse osmosis membrane testing system, the average value of multiple data is calculated by measuring the amounts of freshwater filtered out of a reverse osmosis membrane within a certain period of time, and the separation capacity of the reverse osmosis membrane can be judged. When the multi-purpose water treatment device is used as a sea water desalination device, the membrane assemblies are replaced with sea water desalination membrane assemblies, and multiple multi-purpose water treatment devices can be used for conducting sea water desalination when working at the same time. The multi-purpose water treatment device is provided with a pressure protection device which can prevent the membrane assemblies from being instantaneously broken by high pressure. When the multi-purpose water treatment device is used as the reverse osmosis membrane testing system, freshwater and concentrated liquor which are separated through membranes can flow back to an existing water pool, and accuracy of test data is ensured; when the multi-purpose water treatment device is used as the sea water desalination device, the membrane assemblies work at the same time, and the separation efficiency can be improved.
