Problems solved by technology

[0003] The purpose of the present invention is to provide a method for evaluating resistance to white-backed planthopper resistance of semi-field rice at the adult plant stage, to overcome the problem in the prior art that batch rice varieties cannot be identified at the adult plant stage for resistance to planthoppers, and to make up for only using Insufficiency of evaluation of resistance to white-backed planthopper in seedling identification

Embodiment 1

[0025] Example 1: Identification of resistance of rice varieties to white-backed planthopper at adult plant stage under semi-field conditions

[0026] 1) Refer to Figure 1-Figure 3 , build a cement pool, the cement pool is provided with grooves along the pool, the cement pool is 8 meters long, 1.7 meters wide, and 0.8 meters high. Shawl. The net cover is divided into an upper part and a lower part. The upper part has an extension section. The upper part is 1.3 meters high, and the extension section is 0.2 meters high; In the groove, prevent the rice planthopper from crawling out; the top of the lower part of the mesh is connected to the upper part of the mesh through Velcro, and the extension of the upper part of the mesh covers the outer surface of the lower part of the mesh; along the top of the upper part to the bottom of the extension Install 1-meter-long zippers in the end direction. The zippers are perpendicular to the edge of the cement pool, or they can be zippers a...

Embodiment 2

[0039] Example 2: Comparison of rice insect resistance under the conditions of semi-field and field natural insect sensitivity

[0040] The identification of rice resistance to white-backed planthopper under semi-field conditions is the same as in Example 1, and the rice varieties (8) to be tested are shown in Table 4.

[0041] Identification of rice resistance to white-backed planthopper under natural insect-sensitivity conditions in the field:

[0042] (1) Community design: an average of 5.4×2 meters per community. Seed soaking, germination, sowing, transplanting and other operations were carried out as usual, and 2 varieties to be tested were planted in each plot, with a row spacing of 20×25cm. Transplant a single hybrid rice, and transplant 2 to 3 conventional rice. Each variety (including the variety to be tested and the insect-resistant control IR56) has 3 rows, 27 holes in each row, and a row of TN1 is planted between two varieties to be tested or between the variety to...

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for evaluating resistance of rice in the adult-plant stage against sogatella furcifera under semi-field conditions. The method comprises: planting rice in a cement pond, wherein the rice comprises to-be-tested rice varieties, an insect-resistant check variety and a susceptible check variety; planting the susceptible check variety around the to-be-tested rice varieties and the insect-resistant check variety, and carrying out normal water and fertilizer management; in an initial tillering stage of rice, inoculating each tiller with a pair of newly emerged adults of sogatella furcifera, and allowing the sogatella furcifera to perform natural propagation; and according to the sogatella furcifera resistance identification and evaluation criteria for rice varieties in the adult-plant stage, when the damage of the susceptible check variety reaches level 7, starting evaluating resistance of the to-be-tested rice varieties until all the plants of the susceptible check variety are dead; wherein when all the plants of the susceptible check variety are dead, the resistance of the to-be-tested rice varieties is the final resistance. The method disclosed by the invention overcomes the problem in the prior art that rice planthopper resistance of massive rice varieties in the adult-plant stage cannot be identified in bulk, so that the defect that evaluation on resistance against sogatella furcifera can only be identified in a seedling period is remedied.

Description

(1) Technical field [0001] The invention relates to a method for evaluating rice resistance to white-backed planthopper, in particular to improving the technical level of identification of rice resistance to white-backed planthopper through the identification of resistance to white-backed planthopper at the adult plant stage of rice under controllable conditions. (2) Background technology [0002] Rice planthopper is a pest belonging to class Insecta, order Homoptera, and family Delphacidae. Harm rice and other crops by sucking plant juice, is the main pest in rice production. Common species are brown planthopper (Nilaparvatalugens), white-backed planthopper (Sogatella furcifera) and gray planthopper (Laodelphax striatellus). Rice planthoppers usually live at the base of rice stems or ears, and mainly absorb rice juice. In the early growth stage of rice, they cause slow growth and delayed tillering of rice; The 1000-grain weight decreases, the shriveled grain rate increase...
