The energy management system is characterized by comprising a data acquisition module, a data processing module, a smoothing and filtering module, a comparison module and a PI regulation module, wherein the data acquisition module transmits acquired corresponding electric quantity data of the battery energy storage system to the data processing module; the data processing module processes the received corresponding electric quantity data to obtain active and reactive control commands, and transmits the active and reactive control commands to the battery energy storage system; the smoothing and filtering module is used for smoothing and filtering SOC output by the battery energy storage system to obtain an SOC average value of the battery energy storage system, and transmitting the SOC average value to the comparison module; the comparison module compares the received SOC average value with a target SOC mid value to obtain an SOC deviation value, and transmits the SOC deviation value to the PI regulation module; and the PI regulation module obtains an active power regulation signal according to the SOC deviation value, and transmits the active power regulation signal to the battery energy storage system for PI closed-loop regulation.
