The method comprises the following steps: building a digital ground surface model according to three-dimensional landform point cloud data; importing an embankment slope foot design line and a cutting top design line; constructing a customized dictionary of a railway roadbed draining project; constructing railway roadbed draining horizontal surface and vertical section viewports; creating a customized entity of a horizontal surface of a waterway in an interactive way; automatically creating a customized entity of a vertical section of the waterway; conducting linked cooperative interactive design of the horizontal surface and the vertical section of the waterway and creating a three-dimensional point coordinate file from the result of the design; creating a three-dimensional waterway skeleton line in Dassault Systemes; developing waterway templates with a uniform cross section and a variable cross section in the Dassault Systemes; instantiating the templates to generate a three-dimensional waterway model with additional information; and cutting a landform curved surface covering the waterway from the top and achieving fusion of the waterway model and the landform curved surface. The design process of the method is highly automatic, and the method is highly practical.
