Abstract

The invention discloses a shift register and a driving method thereof. The shift register in one embodiment comprises N (0th to (N-1)th) cascaded shift register units. Each shift register unit comprises a node potential controller and an output unit. Each node potential controller is used for generating an input signal of the output unit on the basis of a first voltage signal input from a first voltage input end and a second voltage signal input from a second voltage input end. Each output unit is used for generating an output signal of the shift register unit on the basis of the input signal of the output unit and a first clock signal. Each node potential controller comprises a first NAND gate and a second NAND gate. The first NAND gate generates a first output signal on the basis of the first voltage signal and the input signal of the output unit. The second NAND gate generates the input signal of the output unit on the basis of the first output signal and the second voltage signal. The scheme of the invention enhances the anti-interference capability of the shift register and stabilizes the output signal of the shift register.
