Embodiment Construction

[0024] The EEG channel selection method assisted by functional magnetic resonance imaging of the present invention will be further described below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings and specific embodiments. The technical solution of the present invention is: the EEG forward modeling model reflects the potential change of the signal source at the cortex and the potential at the head surface. The relationship between signal changes, if it is assumed that the relevant functionally activated brain regions obtained by fMRI are the brain regions that mainly contribute to the potential changes at the head surface, then the relevant functional activation obtained by fMRI can be activated by the forward modeling of EEG. Brain regions are mapped to the head surface to reflect the degree of correlation between different electrode positions and specific brain functions, thereby assisting in the selection of EEG channels.

Abstract

The invention discloses an electroencephalogram (EEG) channel selection method assisted by functional magnetic resonance imaging, in order to overcome the defect that the spatial resolution is low as EEG channels are selected purely depending on EEG data. The EEG channel selection method comprises the following steps: (1) acquiring the activation conditions of relevant functional brain regions according to fMRI experimental data; (2) establishing an EEG forward model according to a brain standard structure image; (3) calculating the correlation degrees between the channels and specific brain functions according to the EEG forward model; and (4) selecting the EEG channels according to the obtained brain function correlation degrees. Compared with the prior art, the EEG channel selection method has the advantages that the high spatial resolution of the fMRI technology is utilized, and the limitation that the EEG spatial resolution is low in the EEG channel selection is broken through to a certain extent; compared with the traditional method for carrying out channel selection depending on experience or data analysis, the EEG channel selection method has better theoretical basis; and different channel selection methods can be worked out aiming at different people.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to an EEG channel selection method, in particular to an EEG channel selection method assisted by functional magnetic resonance imaging. Background technique [0002] In the past two decades, with the advancement of brain imaging technology, brain science research has entered a period of rapid development. As two main neuroimaging tools for non-invasive brain function research, electroencephalography (Electroencephalography, EEG) and functional magnetic resonance imaging (functional magnetic resonance imaging, fMRI) are used in clinical diagnosis and It has been highly concerned and widely used in academic research. [0003] In the study of specific brain functions based on EEG, using a small number of channels to achieve reliable and effective acquisition of specific brain function data signals is the key to the development of EEG research towards portability and practicality. Although the method of feature selection can select ...
