The absorption type heat pump is provided with an absorber (10) utilizes an absorption liquid (Sa) to absorb the heat generated in refrigerating medium steaming (Ve) so as to heat a heated medium (W) circulating in a heat conduction pipe (12), allowing the heated medium (W) to evaporate in the heat conduction pipe (12); the heat conduction pipe (12) is provided with a preheated pipe (12p) for heating up a heated medium liquid (Wq), and an evaporating pipe (12e) for evaporating the heated medium liquid (Wq) after heating up by the preheated pipe (12p). The absorber (10) is configured to have one end of each evaporation pipe (12e) connected to an evaporation pipe distribution portion (14es), and the other end connected to an evaporation pipe collection portion (14ec).
