The method comprises the following steps: airplane berth scene setting; airplane capturing: capturing a video image of an airplane to be berthed in the set airplane berth scene through a camera device; aircraft tracking and positioning: through continuous tracking and real-time updating of images of an airplane engine and an airplane nosewheel of the captured airplane to be berthed, realizing real-time positioning of the airplane to be berthed and accurately judging deviation degree of the airplane to be berthed with respect to a guide line; airplane identification and identity verification: carrying out model and identity verification on the captured airplane to be berthed to further ensure safe and accurate berth of the airplane to be berthed; and information displaying: outputting and displaying results of real-time positioning and the deviation degree of the airplane to be berthed with respect to the guide line as well as model and identity verification result.
