A digital transformer substation testing system is characterized by comprising a simulation tool, a fault management tool, simulation testing devices and a GPS device, wherein the simulation tool simulates voltage and current curve data of nodes under various kinds of working conditions of a target transformer substation; the fault management tool processes the voltage and current curve data to obtain fault data files in a unified format, combines the fault data files with SCD files of a digital transformer substation, and generates a fault engineering file for each digital protection device in the target transformer substation; the simulation testing devices generate digitalized process level data messages according to the fault engineering files; and the GPS device calibrates time of the simulation testing devices and triggers them, and carries out synchronous tests on the digital protection devices inside or between the target transformer substations.
