Embodiment Construction

[0027] like figure 1 , figure 2 As shown, a visible light channel estimation method includes steps:

[0028] S100: Obtain a corresponding pilot signal in the visible light channel, perform least squares estimation on the channel transfer function corresponding to the pilot signal, and perform maximum likelihood estimation on the time-domain channel impulse response of the spatial position where the pilot signal is received, Obtain maximum likelihood estimates of the time-domain channel impulse response at different locations in the visible light channel.

[0029] Least Square (LS) is a mathematical optimization technique. It finds the best function fit to the data by minimizing the sum of squared errors. The unknown data can be easily obtained by using the least square method, and the sum of squares of the errors between the obtained data and the actual data can be minimized. Least squares can also be used for curve fitting. Maximum Likelihood Estimation (MaximumLikeliho...

Abstract

The invention provides a visible light channel estimation method and system. The method comprises the following steps: performing least square estimation on a channel transfer function corresponding to a pilot signal, and performing maximum likelihood estimation on time domain channel impulse response of a spatial position which receives the pilot signal so as to acquire the maximum likelihood estimation of the time domain channel impulse response at different positions in the visible light channel, computing a covariance coefficient of each tapping in the visible light channel under same moment and different time delays, self-adaptively selecting an optimal variable statistic window length, and then computing a time domain estimation value of each tapping as a mean value required by Bayes estimation, and acquiring the time domain Bayes estimation of the channel impulse response. In the whole process, the length of an optimal statistic window is self-adaptively determined according to the covariance coefficient of each tapping, the parameter required by the Bayes estimation is computed, thereby providing a complete and precise channel estimation parameter for a visible light communication system, and realizing the accurate estimation of the visible light channel.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to the field of visible light technology, in particular to a visible light channel estimation method and system. Background technique [0002] In recent years, the emergence of Visible Light Communications (VLC) technology has become an important supplement to traditional wireless communication systems, injecting new and powerful impetus into the evolution of next-generation wireless communication systems and networks. [0003] A traditional radio frequency (Radio Frequency, RF) based wireless communication system generally adopts a pilot-based channel estimation scheme (Pilot-Aided Channel Estimation, PACE) in actual deployment. Because this type of scheme is relatively simple to implement, combined with an interpolation algorithm, the channel parameters before adjacent pilots can be easily calculated, so it has been widely used. However, compared with the wireless channel model, the channel impulse response (Channel Imp...
