In this algorithm, first, for each frame of the video, the frame matching cost is calculated with the subsequent frames, and then a dynamic programming algorithm is used to calculate a frame starting from a certain frame in the first few frames of the video to a certain frame in the last few frames. The path with the least cost at the end of the frame, and the frames on the path are the keyframes.
