The halogen-free flame-retardant POE material is prepared from, by weight, 100 parts of POE resin, 25-60 parts of a halogen-free composite flame retardant and 0.1-1.0 part of an antioxidant. The halogen-free composite flame retardant is prepared from active ammonium polyphosphate (APP), melamine cyanuric acid (MCA) and tri(2-hydroxyethyl)-isocyanuric acid ester according to the weight ratio of 100 to 8-20 to 8-20. The antioxidant is a composite antioxidant prepared from an antioxidant 1010 and an antioxidant 168 according to the weight ratio of 1:1 to 1:3. The halogen-free flame-retardant POE material has a better flame-retardant effect (oxygen index is greater than 30, and vertical burning reaches level V-0) and has higher mechanical properties, and especially the elongation at break can be up to 850% or above.
