Abstract

The invention discloses a device for determining the combustible gas explosion limit. The device is composed of a high voltage oscillating circuit (1), a discharging panel (2), a gas collection container (3) and two wires (4). One end of each of the two wires (4) is connected with the high voltage oscillating circuit (1), the other end of each of the two wires (4) penetrates through the discharging panel (2), and the wires are oppositely arranged on the discharging panel (2). After combustible gas is collected inside the gas collection container (3), the discharging panel (2) covers the gas collection container (3) for discharging, and gas is ignited. According to the device, a drainage method is used for collecting combustible gas, the amount of the collected gas can be observed, and the explosion limit of the combustible gas can be measured through repeated experiments. The point discharge principle is applied for igniting gas, the safe distance between an explosion point and a worker can be kept, and the risk likely to be caused when the worker ignites gas with a matchstick is avoided.
