The device for lead and zinc ore smelting comprises an oxidization smelting furnace, a power frequency electric heating reduction furnace and a zinc rain condenser; the oxidization smelting furnace is provided with a lead and zinc ore inlet, a fluxing agent inlet, a smelting flue gas outlet and a melt outlet, and melt contains zinc oxide and lead oxide; the power frequency electric heating reduction furnace is provided with a melt inlet, a reduction agent inlet, a liquid lead outlet, a furnace slag outlet and a zinc-containing flue gas outlet, and the melt inlet is connected with the melt outlet; and the zinc rain condenser is provided with a zinc-containing flue gas inlet, a liquid zinc outlet and a coal gas outlet, and the zinc-containing flue gas inlet is connected with the zinc-containing flue gas outlet. By means of the device, after being subjected to oxidization melting, the lead and zinc ore can be directly supplied to the power frequency electric heating reduction furnace in a high-temperature melt state, in the furnace body, the zinc oxide is reduced into metal zinc steam by high-temperature carbon, and liquid metal zinc is further obtained through condensation.
