According to the embodiments of the invention, the technical solution determines a direction of the positioning device with respect to a positioning base station in accordance with a laser scanned signal, and in accordance with a supersonic wave signal transmitted by the positioning base station, determines the distance of the positioning device from the positioning base station. Since precision of laser scanned positioning and supersonic wave distance measuring are measured at millimeters and positioning speed is measured at milliseconds, the positioning speed is rapid.
