[0019] The GSPs used in the present invention are extracted from grape seeds with a purity of 73.3%. The extraction and purity determination process are as follows:

[0020] Extraction process: Weigh 500g of grape seeds and grind them, add 5L of ethanol at a material-to-liquid ratio of 1:10, and ultrasonically extract for 2h at 40°C, and concentrate the filtered solution under reduced pressure to obtain 58.4g of crude grape seed extract. Followed by macroporous resin column chromatography, with EtOH-H 2 O is the eluent, collect 50% fraction and concentrate under reduced pressure to obtain 5.3g crude proanthocyanidin sample.

The invention discloses novel application of procyanidine in grape seeds, and application of procyanidine in preparation of a radiosensitizer. Possibility is provided to application of procyanidine in grape seeds, and a novel approach is provided to development of a novel radiosensitizer.

Technical field [0001] The invention relates to a use of natural product extracts, in particular to a new use of proanthocyanidins in grape seeds. Background technique [0002] Procyanidins are widely found in many plants, and grape seed is a rich source of procyanidins. Grape seed proanthocyanidins (GSPs) have a wide range of uses, such as anti-oxidation, scavenging free radicals, UV radiation protection, etc., but there are few reports on their anti-tumor effects.
