Abstract

The invention discloses a system and method for automatically generating news based on a template. A database of the system is composed of a news event log library, a news article template library and a rule library. The news event log library is connected with a statistic data generator through a selection event log. The statistic data generator interacts with a template selector and a natural language generation module. The natural language generation module interacts with an annual report generation module. The statistic data generator interacts with the template selector. The news article template library, the template selector and the annual report generation module are connected. The annual report generation module is connected with the database. The realization method comprises the specific steps of establishing an annual report log library; establishing a template library; establishing the rule library; selecting the template; establishing a statistic database; generating a natural language; and generating an annual report. Compared with the prior art, the system and the method have the advantages that the labour amount of hands in the news writing industry is reduced; the news report efficiency is improved; and the milestone innovation is provided for the development of news.
