A power factor correction circuit for a large-power LED comprises the components of a correction unit; a current detecting unit; a voltage loop control unit; a current loop control unit; a resistor; an integration resetting circuit; and a comparator. The power factor correction circuit realizes comparison between regulating voltage which is output from the voltage loop control unit with a current signal that flows over the resistor through the integration resetting circuit. The switching signal of a switch module is obtained through a comparator. The power factor correction circuit has advantages of realizing a fact that input current follows waveform of the input voltage without input voltage detection, realizing no requirement for arranging an input voltage detecting circuit on a correcting main circuit, simplifying hardware structure of a main circuit, settling a problem of large occupation area by the main circuit of a power factor correction circuit in prior art, reducing circuit area of the main circuit, and reducing investment cost.
