Abstract

The invention discloses a balancing ring used for a washing machine. The cup comprises an annular channel, in which viscous fluids and multiple ball bodies rolling along the channel are arranged. Multiple ribs are arranged on the inner wall in the channel. When the ball bodies roll in the channel at high speed, the gaps between the ball bodies and the channel are smaller when the ball bodies pass the ribs, thereby increasing damping force of viscous fluids attached nearby the ribs. Kinetic energy of ball bodies relative to the channel can be absorbed rapidly so that collision noises of the ball bodies are eliminated. The invention further discloses the washing machine with the balancing ring.
