Problems solved by technology

When the continuous running time of a task does not reach the usual infinite loop detection threshold but has affected protocol tasks with high real-time requirements, it will not be monitored. In this case, different performance tests for different protocols are usually required. , the verification workload is heavy, and in the case of field application, it cannot be set to the debugging mode. Therefore, an automatic and simple method for monitoring and adjusting the real-time response performance of the internal software of the system is needed
[0006] Therefore, how to automatically perform self-diagnosis and adjustment of real-time response performance by software within the system in a relatively simple way is not limited to the difficulties brought about by system maintenance, but also exposes those problems that threaten the real-time performance of the system

Abstract

The invention provides a method and a system for monitoring and adjusting task response performance of an embedded system. The method comprises the steps of presetting running priorities of system tasks according to the importance of the system tasks, wherein threshold time of task running is set for all the system tasks; monitoring running information of each system task, wherein the running information comprises a task ID, a task scheduling frequency and a clock interrupt frequency; calculating continuous running time of the system task according to the monitored running information of each system task; and when it is monitored that the continuous running time of the system task with high priority exceeds the preset threshold time, reducing the priority of the system task with high priority to be lower than the priority of the system task needed to be scheduled in time. The real-time property of task execution by system software is ensured; and meanwhile, other system tasks can be called and the task also can be called and executed again after the overtime running of the system task is detected, so that the system security is ensured.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of embedded systems, in particular to a method for monitoring and adjusting task response performance of an embedded system and a system thereof. Background technique [0002] In the prior art, products of embedded systems are required to have fast and reliable response capabilities. Reasonable work division of multi-tasks in the system, and setting corresponding task priorities according to the real-time requirements of each task are the basis for maintaining good real-time performance of the system. [0003] For an Ethernet switch using the vxWorks operating system, the non-critical tasks, packet sending and receiving tasks, ring protocol tasks, system timer tasks, and exception handling tasks in the embedded software have priorities from low to high in order . Among them, ring protocol tasks, such as Rstp (Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol), etc., generally have a convergence time requirement of 50ms, so cor...
