Embodiment 1

[0033] Embodiment 1: see figure 1 , figure 2 , a method for measuring shale capillary pressure and water saturation, comprising the following steps:

[0034] A. Crush the shale sample into shale sample particles with different particle sizes in the range of 250 μm to 800 μm;

[0035] B. Shale sample particles are packed into jars;

[0036] C. Dry the jar with shale sample particles at 110°C for 24 hours;

[0037] D. Place the dried jar with shale sample particles in a glass vessel with a desiccant at the bottom to cool to room temperature;

[0038] E. Take out the jar with shale sample particles from the glass vessel with desiccant at the bottom, weigh its mass, and place it in the glass vessel with saturated LiCl salt solution at the bottom;

[0039] F. Put the glassware filled with saturated LiCl salt solution at the bottom of the jar with shale sample particles in a 50°C incubator, and take out the jar with shale sample particles from the incubator every 24 hours. Whe...

Abstract

The invention discloses a shale capillary pressure and water saturation measurement method. The method includes the steps of shale sample grinding, drying, cooling, moisture adsorption by a saline solution, desorption by a saline solution and measurement. The shale capillary pressure and water saturation measurement method can be used for pore structure studies and determination of porosity, relative permeability, shale wettability and irreducible water saturation of shale reservoir strata, and has extensive application value in terms of reservoir stratum performance evaluation and reserve calculation of shale. Measuring a relationship curve between capillary pressure and water saturation of the shale is of great significance to efficient development and utilization of unconventional shale gas resources.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of natural oil and gas development, in particular to a method for measuring capillary pressure and water saturation of shale. Background technique [0002] With the increasing demand for oil and gas resources in the world economy, the development and utilization of unconventional shale gas resources has received widespread attention, and has gradually become a strategic supplement to the development and utilization of conventional oil and gas resources. The relationship between shale capillary pressure and saturation is an important relationship curve in the development of shale gas reservoirs, which can be used for shale reservoir evaluation and reserve calculation. At present, the methods commonly used to measure the rock capillary pressure curve mainly include: semi-permeable diaphragm method, centrifugation method and mercury injection method. The maximum capillary pressure measured by the diaphragm met...
