Problems solved by technology

At present, fish soaked specimens are usually fixed and preserved in formalin solution. The disadvantages of the formalin soaking method are: 1. Since formaldehyde will continue to volatilize, formalin solution needs to be added at regular intervals for supplementation.
2. After volatilization, formaldehyde pollutes the air and has harmful effects on the human body, which is not hygienic and safe enough
3. Poor tissue elasticity, pale and stiff muscles
In particular, it is easy to cause the color loss of the specime

Embodiment 1

[0022] 1) Anesthesia: Take the guppies about 3cm long and need to be made into specimens into a beaker, and slowly add eugenol to the beaker until the fish is anesthetized;

[0023] 2) Fixation: Take out the anesthetized fish and put them into the fixative solution, adjust the fish body, and let it stand still for 24 hours. The fixative was prepared as follows: formaldehyde 5ml, absolute ethanol 30ml, acetic acid 2ml, sodium acetate 2g, distilled water was added to 100ml.

[0024] 3) Buffer: Pour off the fixative, add buffer and soak for 24 hours. The preparation method of the buffer solution is 2ml of formaldehyde, 2g of sodium acetate, 10ml of glycerol, 0.1ml of eugenol, and distilled water is added to 100ml.

[0025] 4) Preservation: Take out the soaked small fish specimens from the buffer solution, use an absorbent cloth to gently dry the remaining liquid on the surface of the fish body, and put them in such as figure 1 Seal the mold as shown, and put small pieces of aqu...

Abstract

The invention provides a preparation method of a primary-color and solid-phase specimen of small fish. The preparation method comprises the steps: 1) anesthesia, 2) fixing, 3) buffering and 4) sealing for keeping. The preparation method is particularly suitable for keeping of colorful fish; a treated color and a living color of the fish are same or approximate; and a purpose of lively and visual showing is achieved. By a two-year experiment, a form of the specimen can be kept; a primary color of the fish can be kept; the method is suitable for small ornamental fish, and particularly has better keeping of black, white and red fish; and the prepared specimen is convenient to carry and observe, and has artistic appreciation and collection values.
