The preparation method mainly comprises the following steps of fabricating a solar cell piece, forming H-shaped electrodes on a front surface and a back surface of the cell piece, wherein a main gate is a segmental electrode, and a welding point is arranged at one end of the main gate; printing strip-shaped hot melt glue at a position of the welding point along a direction perpendicular to the main gate, wherein the hot melt glue is exposed out of the welding point; cutting the cell piece along a battery cutting region so that cell piece is cut into a plurality of small cell pieces; coating a conductive adhesive or soldering paste at the position of the welding point of the main gate on a front surface of each small cell piece; overlapping the welding point of the main gate on a back surface of one of the small cell pieces with the welding point of the main gate on the front surface of the other one small cell piece, and performing heating so that the two small cell pieces are electrically connected by the conductive adhesive or the soldering paste; and sequentially connecting the plurality of small cell pieces to form the solar cell string.
