Problems solved by technology

[0005] Most of the methods described in the above literature focus on the relationship between a meteorological element field and the cold front. The fronts identified by these methods are not the same, and are sensitive to noise, which may easily cause frontal position deviation and some false positives.
At present, there is no automatic detection method for cold fronts in China, and because the manual identification of cold fronts is time-consuming and laborious, it will affect the timeliness of forecasts; and it is impossible to give timely warnings of possible disasters, resulting in economic losses and casualties

Embodiment Construction

[0053] The technical solution of the present invention will be further described in detail below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings and specific embodiments, and the described specific embodiments are only for explaining the present invention, and are not intended to limit the present invention.

[0054] The present invention proposes a method for automatically identifying and drawing cold fronts in meteorology. Its design idea is: simplify the wind vector field into a binary wind direction mark related to the cold shear zone, and then transform it into marking the irrelevant area as 0 ternary image, design point detection algorithm, joint expansion, filtering and skeleton extraction algorithm, realize the detection, location and shear parameter extraction of cold shear zone; then use the cold shear zone as a benchmark to verify the dew point difference in the local area and temperature difference conditions and give quantitative parameters; finally, through the iden...

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for automatically identifying and drawing a cold front in meteorology. The method comprises steps of carrying out cold cutting identification based on a low altitude wind field; carrying out detection and verification on a temperature difference or a dew point difference of two sides on a cold shearing belt; detecting groove lines of the near constant pressure field overhead the cold shearing belt; drawing a three-dimensional schematic diagram of the cold front and quantifying parameters; simplifying the wind vector field into a binary wind direction mark related to the cold shearing belt; carrying out conversion to marking an irrelevant region to be a three-valued image of 0; designing a cloud detection algorithm, a combined expansion, filtering and skeleton extraction algorithm, thereby achieving detection, positioning and shearing parameter extraction of the cold shearing belt; taking the cold shearing belt as the reference, verifying the dew point difference and the temperature difference in a local region and giving quantitative parameters; and finally, through the identification and matching of low pressure grooves, analyzing the frontal oblique angle. According to the invention, automatic detection is achieved; forecasting of weather disasters is facilitated; economical loss is reduced; and meanwhile, the formed quantitative description provides a certain foundation for objective training of a relation model of the cold front and the extreme weather.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of meteorology, in particular to a method for automatically identifying and drawing cold fronts in meteorology. Background technique [0002] A cold front is the most common weather system in China, and it can move across the country. The analysis and location of the frontal line and the frontal zone occupy a relatively important position in the weather system. The baroclinic property of the frontal zone is large, which is conducive to the development of vertical circulation and energy conversion. The frontal area can be regarded as a discontinuous surface of meteorological elements such as wind, temperature, and humidity. If the automatic identification and quantitative description of cold fronts can be realized according to the characteristics of these elements, it will help to intelligently process huge numerical data, mine objective rules, and improve this. The forecast accuracy of severe weather induced by simil...
