The method can be used for predicting a gas trend in the direct-current-transmission conversion transformation oil, performing fault diagnosis with combination of a three-ratio method, a Duval triangle method and other methods, and determining faults of the conversion transformation effectively and timely so as to timely guide run units to make decisions on conversion transformation stop, continuous operation, live testing, inspection strengthening, fault diagnosis, overhaul in factory, field maintenance and the like.
