Abstract

The invention provides application of TALE protein AvrXa7 in prevention and control of the citrus bacterial canker disease, and belongs to the technical field of biology. According to the application, TALE protein AvrXa7 separated from xanthomonas oryzae is used for inhibiting occurrence of the bacterial canker disease by interfering activation of citrus bacterial canker bacterium pthA4 on a susceptible gene and effectively inhibiting formation of canker symptom by expressing AvrXa7 in biological-control pseudomonas fluorescens Pf, is an optimal gene resource for constructing an efficient gene engineering strain, and has an important application value in biological prevention and control of citrus bacterial canker.
