Abstract

The method comprises the steps that a medium access control (MAC) entity of a first network node allocates data packets to at least one hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) unit of at least two cells, wherein different radio access technologies (RATs) are employed by the at least two cells, the at least two cells share the same HARQ unit, or each of the at least two cells corresponds to one HARQ unit, and the HARQ unit is an HARQ entity and/or an HARQ process; and the first network node sends the data packets to a second network node through the at least two cells.
