The methyl jasmonate composition is composed of effective constituents including, by weight percentage, 2.5-10% of sodium p-chlorophenoxyacetate and 0.2-1.0% of methyl jasmonate at a weight ratio of 5-20:1. The methyl jasmonate composition can significantly improve the fruit setting rate of tomato plants in high-temperature summer and autumn up to that in spring, thereby improving the economic benefits.
