According to the integral treatment method, a vertical lifting method is controlled, a step heat-preserving temperature is increased, heat-reserving time is selected, transferring and quenching time is selected and the like. The method can be adopted to produce a qualified large-diameter metal shell with the diameter of phi 2200 mm; and the high-hardness high-strength 406 steel metal shell with the diameter of phi 2200 mm meets operating requirements, and shell deformation meets assembly precision requirements.
