Abstract

The present invention provides a total strain-based expansion stress test device and method. According to the method, a total strain-based expansion stress test device is utilized. The device includes a solution tank, an expansion stress test tube, an LED lighting test system and a temperature monitoring system, wherein the expansion stress test tube is arranged in the solution tank and is used for accommodating a material to be tested; the upper surface of the solution tank is provided with a fine glass tube; the LED lighting test system comprises an LED transmitter and an LED lighting receiver which are correspondingly arranged at two sides of the fine glass tube and are located continuously and correspondingly; and the temperature monitoring system comprises a liquid temperature sensor arranged in the solution tank and a data recorder which is connected with the temperature sensor. According to the total strain-based expansion stress test method of the invention, LED lighting is utilized to monitor liquid surface change, so that the total expansion stress of the material can be obtained through inversion; the overall deformation condition of a steel pipe is calculated through the liquid surface change; the liquid surface change is amplified through the fine glass tube, and therefore, test sensitivity can be improved; and the continuous LED light sources are adopted to monitor the liquid surface change in the fine glass tube, so that dynamic monitoring of deformation data can be realized, and therefore, the defect that a current external tube method just can perform a spot test can be eliminated, and great help can be provided for the full strain test of the expansion stress of the material.
