Abstract

The invention discloses an FLAC3D simulation-based subgrade settlement prediction method. The method comprises the following steps of: firstly establishing a space coordinate system, taking an intersection point of the foundation surface and a symmetry axis of a model as a coordinate origin, taking a direction which is horizontally rightward as an x direction, taking a direction which is vertical to the plane as a y direction, and taking a direction which is vertically upward as a z direction; respectively establishing meshes for each area by utilizing a brick unit according to a control point, grouping and assigning the meshes, and only setting one unit in the y direction, wherein the unit size is 3m; before the subgrade construction, assigning a subgrade mesh part as an empty model, assigning a foundation mesh part as a Mohr-Coulomb model, and carrying out solution by utilizing a graded elastic-plastic theory method; and dividing 5 units in the height direction of the foundation and respectively loading the 5 units. According to the method, an FLAC3D mixed discrete method is adopted to simulate the plastic failure and plastic flow of rock and earth masses, so that the operation is more correct and reasonable, and the numerical analysis does not have any obstacle when instable processes are simulated.
