Abstract

The invention discloses a method of absorbing SO2 exhaust gas from production of 1-phenyl-3-methyl-5-pyrazolone. In the method, ammonia water is used for absorbing the SO2; through the reaction, an ammonium hydrogen sulfite solution is produced and is blended with a raw material reducing agent according to content and ratio; then the mixture is applied to a reduction reaction in the production of the 1-phenyl-3-methyl-5-pyrazolone. The method avoids discharge of sewage and saves the cost of sewage treatment. In addition, a diluted solution of the reducing agent can be used for producing the 1-phenyl-3-methyl-5-pyrazolone, so that usage amount of the reducing agent is reduced and raw material cost of the product is reduced.
