The large-caliber butterfly valve comprises a valve body, a valve plate and a valve seat, wherein the valve seatmade of a rubber material is vulcanized on the inner wall of the valve body; the valve plate is mounted in the valve seat in a sealing mode; a valve shaft is vertically arranged in the valve plate ina penetrating mode; the valve shaft drives the valve plate to horizontally rotate; a plurality of supporting parts which are uniformly distributed peripherally are integrally arranged at the outer edge of the valve body; the lower end part of the valve body which corresponds to the bottom of the valve shaft is equipped with an end cover; and a coaxial press-fitting bearing is arranged between theend cover and the valve shaft. The butterfly valve improves stability, in a mounting process, of the butterfly. The supporting parts and the reinforcing ribs of the butterfly valve are integrated with the valve body, so that manufacturing cost is effectively saved. Torsion force of the valve plate is reduced by mounting the bearing; coaxiality of upper and lower end parts of the valve shaft is guaranteed by fixedly arranging a locating pin roll on the cover plate; and the valve plate is prevented from moving downwards under action of gravity, so that sealing performance of the valve is improved. The large-caliber butterfly valve has the characteristics of small flow resistance, reliable sealing, quick opening-closing and a long service life.
