Abstract

The invention provides a feature registration method based on branch points. The method includes: firstly obtaining a green channel of an eye fundus image, and extracting a blood vessel center line; extracting a vascular tree in the eye fundus image by employing a blood vessel center line extracting technology based on gradient and divergence; then extracting feature points of the eye fundus vascular tree by employing an eight-neighborhood table look-up method, and deleting erroneous feature points to obtain Harris angle point coordinates corresponding to correct branch points; performing feature extraction on the obtained branch points by employing an improved feature description algorithm, obtaining corresponding branch angles and vascular lengths, and forming feature vectors; and finally obtaining feature point pairs used for final matching by employing Euclidean distances between the vectors, obtaining a transformation matrix of a reference image relative to an original image by employing a random sample consensus algorithm, performing basic modification on a registered result image, and obtaining the eye fundus image with accurate registration.
