Problems solved by technology

However, in terms of road network expression, for urban arterial roads or expressways, OSM map data represent the entrance and exit of the same road with two physically separated road segments, although it can be more accurate than using a two-way line segment to represent the road segment. Finely describe the characteristics of the traffic network, but it will cause the road intersection nodes composed of trunk roads or expressways to change from one to multiple, which will cause the following problems: On the one hand, the number of nodes increased at the intersection will increase exponentially The time for network allocation and calculation affects the real-time feedback of simulation evaluation results; on the other hand, if the connection between the entrance and exit of the same road intersection is not prohibited in the future, the description of the traffic network will be distorted, and even major errors will occur in the simulation process , and the implementation of manual prohibition settings on some sections of the above intersections greatly increases the time and labor costs of using OSM map data to generate road networks and conduct traffic allocation research

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for automatically combining road network intersection nodes in OSM map data. The method comprises the steps of generating a node database and a road segment database by utilizing OSM map data files, and extracting intersection nodes needed to be combined from the two databases; and by checking a distance between the nodes, a road segment type between the nodes anda connection state between the nodes, screening out intersections, needed to be combined, between main roads and between the main road and branch roads, combining the nodes of the intersections into anode, calculating longitude and latitude coordinates of the combined node, endowing the combined node with a node ID value, and updating the node database and the road segment database. According tothe method, the number of the road network nodes extracted from the OSM map data is reduced, so that the time for subsequent network allocation calculation is greatly shortened and real-time feedbackof an allocation result is facilitated; and a connection line of entrance and exit roads of the same road intersection is prevented from being subjected to manual forbidding setting, so that the timeand labor costs are reduced.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of road traffic graph processing, and relates to a method for merging map data intersection nodes, and more specifically, relates to a method for automatically merging road network intersection nodes based on Open Street Map OSM (OpenStreetMap). Background technique [0002] The traffic system has the characteristics of dynamics, randomness, and non-reproducibility. It is difficult to describe it comprehensively and accurately by relying solely on a series of simple assumptions. At the same time, traffic engineers establish mathematical models for complex road network systems and carry out The ability to solve is limited. [0003] In recent years, the continuous development of information technology has led to the widespread application of computer simulation technology (computer graphics, computer-aided design and computer-aided manufacturing and other new technologies) in the field of transportation. Traf...
