Abstract

The invention relates to a casting process of a North American standard self-protection type high manganese steel frog. The casting process is characterized by comprising the following processes including a process of an opening position of the toe end of the frog: arranging a riser pad in the opening position of the toe end, wherein the inclination is designed according to an inverse draft of 1:(10 to 30), cooperatively using an insulating riser, adopting a chilling process that bright cold iron is matched with chromite sand, and chilling through molten steel; a process of a connecting position of a point rail of the frog and a filler of the heel end: implanting special forming bright cold iron in the position, wherein the structure of the cold iron is completely and tightly pasted with the structure of a casting; and a process of an opening position of a guardrail of the frog: arranging riser pads on two diagonal points of the central position of the structure, wherein the inclination of both sides of the pads is designed according to positive drafts of 1:5 and 1:20, and designing a heating insulating riser.
